1. Cotton fabric
Advantages: particularly good adhesion, no need for adhesives, small heat shrinkage;
Disadvantages: low strength, easy to absorb moisture, easy to mold, easy to be eaten by insects.
2. Nylon fabric
Advantages: high strength, good elasticity and resilience, wear resistance, good heat absorption performance, not easy to mold, moth and rot;
Disadvantages: high price, poor anti-ultraviolet performance, moisture absorption deformation.
3. Polyethylene and polypropylene fabrics
Advantages: light weight, low price, chemical inertness, not easy to mold, moth and rot;
Disadvantages: low melting point, especially for ethylene, and some substances are difficult to bond.
4. Nomex fabric
Advantages: particularly high strength, high mandatory-to-mass ratio, high melting point, excellent fire resistance;
Disadvantages: Expensive, will degrade at the end of the day or under UV light.
5. Glass fiber fabric
Advantages: high temperature resistance, high toughness, excellent fire resistance, good dimensional stability, zero moisture regain, not easy to mold, moth-eaten, rot, and particularly good UV resistance;
Disadvantages: difficult to bond, high density, fragile, poor bending performance.
