1. Fabric structure: In the basic structure, the more weft and warp staggered points, the greater the weft shrinkage of the weft. Under the same other conditions, the order of the weft shrinkage is: plain weave > twill > satin weave.
2. Density and warp yarn density
① The higher the warp density, the more frequently the weft interlaces and the higher the weft shrinkage.
②The greater the density of warp yarns, the greater the buckling wave height when the weft yarns are staggered, and the greater the weft shrinkage rate of the weft yarns.
3. Tension: The tension on the machine during manufacture is high, the warp straightness is high, the weft buckling wave is high, and the weft shrinkage rate is large.
4. Temperature and humidity in the workshop: The higher the temperature and humidity, the easier the weft yarn shrinks, and the greater the weft shrinkage rate.
5. Conditions: After the 300D fabric is inspected and stored in the finishing workshop for a period of time, due to the release of warp tension, the weft yarn is elongated. From the calculation formula of the weft yarn shrinkage rate, we can see that the weft yarn shrinkage rate is smaller than that on the loom. The width of the surface is 0.5%~1.2% (the variety of polyester/cotton is lower, and the variety of pure cotton is higher), that is, the weft shrinkage of the weft yarn on the machine is lower than that of the weft yarn on the machine.
