Characteristics and uses of cationic fabrics

Cationic fabrics are all polyester fabrics, generally using cationic silk in the warp direction and ordinary polyester silk in the weft direction. Sometimes, in order to achieve better linen imitation effects, two components of polyester and cationic fibers are blended and made. Dyes are also used for dyeing, with polyester silk using ordinary dyes and cationic silk using cationic dyes. The fabric effect can have a two-color effect.
Characteristics of cationic fabrics:

2. Cationic fabrics have bright colors and are suitable for use as artificial fibers, but they have poor color fastness to washing and light when used in natural cellulose and protein fabrics.
3. The abrasion resistance of cationic fabrics is also very good. After adding some artificial fibers such as polyester and spandex, the strength and elasticity of cationic fabrics are higher, and the abrasion resistance is second only to nylon.
4. Cationic fabrics have some chemical properties, such as corrosion resistance, dilute alkali resistance, bleach resistance, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products, and inorganic acids, as well as some physical properties, such as the ability to resist ultraviolet rays.
Uses of cationic fabrics:
1. Due to its excellent water absorption and small dyeing cylinder difference, cationic fabrics are particularly suitable for sportswear, mainly made into sweatshirts, athletic pants, yoga suits, etc. If cationic fabrics are relatively thick and have a good flanneling effect, they can be used as thermal clothing, thermal pants, etc.
